CAVEC Executive Director David Lee

CAVEC is a 501[c]3 organization incorporated in San Francisco that serves the Chinese and greater Asian-American community as well as all voters in San Francisco. On a daily basis, CAVEC works to:

- Organize bi-lingual voter education programs to help new citizens and voters understand the terms and language used in American representative democracy

- Support and improve the coverage of civic affairs and political news in the ethnic news media

- Organize and assist with non-partisan voter registration drives in San Francisco

- Provide public policymakers with timely research and analysis concerning the rapidly changing demographics of San Francisco and the greater Bay Area
